Using a series of mirrored prop to hide her body or face during social interactions during the “Seeing You/Seeing Me” project, Takahashi documents viewers' responses and herself through video to investigate those relationships and the cultural circumstances in the society where she lives, while paradoxically drawing attention to herself.
